Location: Racine Area (must have reliable transportation to jobsites)

Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Masonry Laborer to assist skilled masons in a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to perform tasks efficiently. As a Masonry Laborer, you will play a key role in supporting the masonry team, ensuring that construction sites are well-organized, and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist masons with the preparation and laying of bricks, blocks, and stones for construction projects.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, mortar, and grout.
- Carry and transport materials to and from the worksite, including bricks, stones, and mortar.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Set up and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Clean up debris and ensure the workspace is safe and organized.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in construction or masonry labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Basic math and ability to read a tape measure
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and protocols on construction sites.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Work Environment
- The role requires working outdoors on construction sites, often in varying weather conditions.
- The job involves physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
