Punch Press Set-Up Operator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Operators set up, run and maintain a wide variety (30-ton to 500-ton) of press machines. Experience in setting up manual punch presses, changing dies or other machining setup experience is required.
Skills/Requirements:
- Prefer a minimum of 3 years punch press experience
- Prior experience with manual punch press required
- Must have experience with progressive and compound dies
- Experience with automatic coil operation and loading coils
- Strong shop math skills
- Able to work standing 100% of the time and lift up to 50lbs
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Manual Punch Press: 1 year (Preferred)
- tooling/die changes: 1 year (Preferred)
