Job Full Description
Currently, seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with experience in Mazak CNC machines and Mazatrol programming for our partnered client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machining operations to ensure efficient and precise production of high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify Mazatrol programs for Mazak CNC lathes and mills.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to create accurate machining programs.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining efficiency.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment, offsets, and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes to improve quality and cycle times.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setup sheets, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to meet production goals.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of CNC programming with Mazak and Mazatrol software.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and multi-axis machining operations.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot Mazak CNC lathes and mills.
- Proficiency in precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Understanding of materials, cutting tools, and machining best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
