Job Full Description
Position Title: Quality Technician
Temporary assignment (approx. 2 months).
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Wage: $18 an hour
Role Purpose: Provide quality control support to manufacturing areas through inspections and support of quality control laboratory.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Support and drive quality continuous improvement culture
• Plan and perform routine inspection according to defined procedures and quality control schedules
• Deliver inspection of parts in support of prototype new business development to the requirement of the project plan
• Perform basic data analysis in support of production and project requirements
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and associated test methods to ensure delivery of reliable and compliant analytical services
Experience:
• Demonstratable ability to multitask and prioritize in a time critical environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstratable effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex data sets.
• Analytical skills with the ability to both interpret and present data in written form.
• Basic knowledge of computer productivity software
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
