Job Overview
Express Employment of St. Croix Falls has partnered with a company in Siren, WI who is looking for a Tool Room Technician. In this position candidates will be supporting the maintenance and repair of molds under the direction of the Tool Room Manager. Other duties may also include CNC set up and operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repairs of molds. Including disassembly, cleaning, lubricating, polishing, and pin changes of molds.
- Escalate mold integrity or performance concerns to Tool Room Manager promptly.
- Adhere to quality standards to ensure product quality adheres to good manufacturing practices.
- Help to maintain a clean and safe workspace ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, plastic injection molding experience preferred.
- Candidates must be mechanically inclined.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and correspondence.
- Proficient at adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common functions, and decimals.
- Must be able to work with a team and open to learning and cross training.
