Express Employment had partnered with a leading manufacturer of critical products used by various industries, including fire & rescue teams, construction, and agriculture. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team in Assembly.
Job Summary:
As an Assembler, you will play a vital role in the production of our high-quality quick-release couplings. This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Shift:
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am, $19/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assemble quick-release couplings according to work instructions.
- Operate all assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Package completed assemblies for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Verify the function of products through visual inspection and testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.
- Adhere to quality standards and ensure products meet specifications.
- Follow standard work procedures and work instructions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Frequently lift and move materials weighing 15-35 lbs; occasionally lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
