Job Full Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of HR-related tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.
- Provide Administrative Support:
- Maintain employee records and files.
- Handle data entry and generate reports.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
- Answer employee inquiries and provide information on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage HR-related paperwork.
- Assist with Recruitment:
- Post job openings and screen resumes.
- Schedule interviews and conduct background checks.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
- Support Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee communication and maintain confidentiality.
- Help with the administration of employee benefits and payroll.
- Assist with the maintenance of time and attendance records.
- Maintain HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Assist with HR audits and reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in human resources or a related field is often preferred.
- Prior experience in an administrative or HR role is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
