We are looking for motivated and reliable Restoration Technicians to join our client’s team! The Restoration Technician responds quickly to emergency water, fire, mold, and bio-hazard claims, coordinating related restoration activities.
The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to take turns being on-call, ensuring 24/7 on-call availability on a rotating basis.
Job Duties:
- Perform field restoration tasks including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service and water extraction, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage
cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage and other specialized cleaning.
- Ensures proper set-up & monitoring of equipment, and picks up, cleans and returns equipment to the shop in a timely fashion.
- Make sure the customer's property stays safe from more damage by using shoe covers and floor mats, sealing off areas to stop dust and debris, and safely moving furniture and other items.
- Every day, tidy up tools and materials left on-site, store them securely, and clean up the area as much as possible before leaving.
- Understand and follow all health and safety practices and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Professional appearance and decorum.
- Basic knowledge of construction and building materials.
- Basic carpentry skills a plus.
- Customer-oriented, outgoing and personable.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to work a very flexible schedule for a 24/7 Emergency response business.
- IICRC Certifications a plus; or willingness and ability to obtain certifications within six months.
- Participation in weekly rotational on-call schedule.
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 7am - 5 or 6pm
- 24/7 Emergency Response; will take turns being on call
