Location: Hartland, WI
Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri (6:00am-2:00pm)

Description: Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building, and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of basic maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication, and knowledge of electrical repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (P.M.) on equipment and machinery.
- Make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.
- Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining, or replacement of purchased parts.
- Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting, and aligning operations.
- Perform maintenance on the buildings, facilities, and the grounds.
- Assist to determine the nature and scope of forthcoming projects and the requirements for completion.
- Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units.
- Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
- Interpret and understand basic electrical and hydraulic prints, ability to troubleshoot and make necessary repairs.
- Perform routine housekeeping activities in the department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and requirements.
