Job Full Description
Our client is looking for Assembly/Material Handlers to join their team!
The Assembly/Material Handler may be assigned to various stations as production needs require. An assembly line is a manufacturing process in which parts are added in sequence as fabrication moves along workstations.
Job Duties:
- Set up fixtures, manual drilling, and routing operations as needed for scheduled production in accordance with each machines S.O.P.
- Bolt, clip, screw, or otherwise fasten parts together for sub-assemblies or completed product.
- Daily inspection and maintenance of regularly used tools and equipment in accordance with usage S.O.P. to ensure proper care.
- Work on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
- Follow and understand all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Lift up to 25 pounds consistently.
- Ability to multitask.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Schedule:
- 1st shift, 5am-3pm
- Monday- Thursday
