Job Full Description
The Accounting Assistant will need a broad range of office experience including customer accounts, review and code financial information, compile, and review information for accuracy, and maintain records.
Essential Functions:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including processing of the daily deposit and vendor commissions.
- Collections of accounts, including customer accounts and past due vendor commissions.
- Assist with Accounts Payable, including vouchering invoices and credit card transactions and auditing checks for accuracy.
- Process defective inkers and manage customer credits.
- Process meter movement paperwork.
- Prepare and distribute recurring reports.
- Process mileage reports.
- Answering phones and routing calls.
- Entering sales orders and service calls.
- Organize and upload customer files.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in an accounting role. Account collections experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time: Monday-Friday, 5-6 hours per day.
