Express Employment is looking for laborers this winter to help keep several local apartment complexes safe and free of snow buildup.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for keeping track of the weather and reporting for work if there is an inch or more accumulation by half an hour prior to start time. This includes weekends.
Hours: 730am - 1030 or 11am if there is a full crew
But you work until the job is complete so it may go over the time scheduled!!
Duties:
- Remove snow and ice from surfaces (sidewalks and parking lots) using shovels and other tools. This will be more edging and between parked cars as there will be plows and skid-steers to remove the bulk of the snow.
- Spread salt or sand to prevent ice buildup on surfaces
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall or ice conditions
Skills:
- Reliability and dependability
- Experience using a snow shovel
Requirements:
- Come completely dressed ready to work in the cold
- Hats, Gloves, Winter Coats, Boots etc.
