Jake and Britt Domer acquired the Express Employment Professional Office in Bellevue, Washington in March 2009.  Both are graduates of the University of Washington, have resided in the Seattle and Eastside area for over thirty years, and strive to be leaders in the community with high company standards, practices and values. Since the beginning, the primary purpose of the Bellevue Express Employment Professionals has been "To Help People Succeed". The company actively works with other business owners and companies to find loyal and capable employees to help their business grow.

Prior to the acquisition of Express Employment Professionals, Jake had been successful in the corporate arena holding executive Banking and Finance roles encompassing; Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Strategy, Production and Marketing.  Jake started his career as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche, and was the VP of Finance and Controller at two different technology companies in the Bellevue area prior to banking. Through his career the one constant Jake found was that great businesses are built upon great people.  The difference between simply "good" companies and truly outstanding ones are the people in them.  This is why Express Employment Professionals focuses on providing top tier talent to its clients.

In addition to his role as President of the Bellevue Express, Jake is currently the Chairman of the Board for Childhaven; a local non-profit which focuses on stopping the cycle of abuse and neglect in our most vulnerable children (ages 0-5 yrs).  Jake has been recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the region's 40 under 40 award recipients, and is a member of the Seattle Entrepreneurs' Organization and Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. Before Express Employment Professionals, Dan attended Saint Mary's College to play baseball and majored in Business and Economics. He spent over twenty years at a prominent staffing company where he served in account leadership, sales, training and development, operations, and regional enterprise account oversight supporting multiple divisions in six different markets. He later worked in the consulting industry as a Senior Director and Sales Leader. Dan is passionate about community involvement and youth development, actively coaching multiple sports teams within the City of Kirkland and serving on the Board of Directors for Communities in Schools of Washington. He lives in Kirkland with his wife Taylee, daughter Malia, and son Matthew.

Laura joined Express Employment Professionals in 2011. As a veteran, having rapidly advanced in her career through Express, Laura has attained the majority of roles within our business. Today, she continues to excel as Bellevue's General Manager. Laura possess a myriad of interconnected management and leadership skills that contribute to the team values, goals and achievements. Her unique understanding of all business lines plays a major role in maintaining client relationships and ensuring a consistent process for both client and candidate experiences.

Laura was raised in Bothell, Washington, and graduated from Western Washington University where she completed her major in Communications and Minor in Business Administration. Outside of the office, Laura is an active athlete and enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

 

Ashley joined Express Employment Professionals in 2019 as Bellevue's Administrative Recruiter. Kicking off to a great start, Ashley joined the team, acquiring the expertise to excel as an employment specialist, while carrying out company values and goals. Our mission to put thousands of people to work is demonstrated through Ashley's dedication and passion for people. Her integrity, resiliency and outgoing personality are key elements in Ashley's ability to build rapport, and establish/maintain relationships with both candidates and companies. In addition to running our Office Services division as a full cycle recruiter, Ashley also manages all marketing and communications for the team. Ashley Specializes in recruiting within the executive admin, office, customer service, and operational accounting space. 

Raised in Seattle Washington, Ashley attended Oregon State University where she played for OSU's varsity volleyball team, and pursued her degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. When Ashley is not living the recruiting fast life, she is staying active and spending time with her family and friends.  

 

Kayla joined Express Employment Professionals in 2017. After a brief transition away from Express, Kayla returns to Bellevue as the Back Office Administrator. She plays a major role in ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for candidate payroll and client services. Her success as the office administrator is obtained through her ability to communicate effectively while utilizing her eye for accuracy, and organizational skills. Kayla's skills in enhancing administrative tasks and knowledge for process improvement derives from her strong background in payroll and human resources. 

When she is not in the office, Kayla enjoys hiking, golfing, watching sports, listening to music and reading.
