excellence in winemaking, we seek a skilled and passionate Enologist.
About Us:
Bionic Wines, founded by renowned vigneron Christophe Baron,
encompasses critically acclaimed brands such as Cayuse Vineyards, Horsepower
Vineyards, No Girls Wines, Hors Catégorie Vineyards, and Champagne Christophe
Baron. We pride ourselves on our uncompromising quality achieved through
meticulous vineyard work and biodynamic farming.
Responsibilities:
- Assist
in grape crush, press, and fermentation during harvest.
- Collect
and prepare samples for analysis and tastings.
- Organize
blending trials.
- Perform
quality control during bottling.
- Conduct
routine So2 analysis, check Brix, pH, and TA.
- Maintain
lab inventory and cleanliness.
- Participate
in safety programs and meetings.
- Support
Resident and Assistant Vignerons with lab work and production.
Qualifications:
- Valid
Washington or Oregon Driver’s License.
- Degree
in Enology or related field.
- Minimum
2 years of winery lab experience and two harvest seasons.
- Excellent
communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office; experience with Vintrace a plus.
- Ability
to lift 50+ pounds and work long hours during peak seasons
- Spanish
language skills are a plus.
