Heather graduated from the University of GA in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Psychology. She was fortunate enough to obtain a job right out of college as the managing editor and marketing coordinator for The Real Estate Book of Athens, where she stayed until she came to Express in 2011. Heather started her career with Express as the Front Office Coordinator and was later promoted to Branch Manager. When asked what she loves most about her job, Heather responded, “I have a great occupation and am fortunate enough to make a difference in, and be a part of such an amazing community.” In addition to being passionate about her job, Heather is a huge advocate for the local businesses in Athens and the surrounding areas. She is on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association – Walk to End Alzheimer’s, a member of the UGA Alumni Association, and Co-Chair of the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. She is an advocate of local businesses and spends a lot of time volunteering for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Heather enjoys attending UGA sporting events, Braves games, and spending time with friends and family.
Mandy is an Athens native and graduated with a BS in Communications from Emmanuel College in 2000. She began her career working in HR where she stayed for two years before switching to the medical field and worked in coding and billing for the next 8 years. Express was fortunate to add Mandy to their team in May of 2010 when she came on as a recruiter and was later promoted to the Branch Manager position of the Athens office in September 2011. In May of 2014, she became the Operations Manager for the Athens, Braselton and Covington locations.
Mandy is married to her wonderful husband Duke and they have two dogs that keep them very entertained. In addition to her job, Mandy also enjoys being an active member of Cornerstone Church of God where she has been a member for 38 years. Mandy has also been an active member of The Junior League of Athens for 4 years. A lover of football, Mandy is sure to never miss a Saturday between the hedges cheering on her hometown Dawgs. In her spare time she enjoys movies, music and spending time with her family.
Sandra Allen recently joined our Express Athens/Covington team as our Territory Manager for Rockdale, Newton, Morgan, Walton, Oconee, and Jasper counties. She has already doubled our clients billed in those territories while engaging and encouraging our inside sales team. Sandra received her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia in 2000 and her Master’s degree from Piedmont College in 2004. When Sandra is not busy closing new deals she enjoys spending time with her children and attending local charity events.
I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, attended Clarke County schools and graduated from Clarke Central High School in 2000. I attended Young Harris College on a soccer scholarship and studied business at the University of Mississippi. I began a career in the fence business, and in time became one of the leading sales representatives for two of the largest suppliers in the industry. After a chance meeting with John Culpepper, I joined the Athens Express team in 2017. I am looking forward to working with the Express family to help brighten the future for our associates and clients.
In my free time I enjoy being with my beautiful and creative wife Sallie and our two dogs, Cotton and Bailey. We love the outdoors and spending time with friends and family, as well as cheering on the Bulldogs—no matter the season!
Kathryn Kay joined our Express Athens team in April 2014 as our Front Office Coordinator, moved to a Staffing Consultant, and is now promoted to our Administrative Specialist. Born and raised right down the road in Watkinsville, GA, she graduated from Oconee County High School in 2007. She then went on to attend the University of Georgia and graduated with a BBA in Marketing from Terry College of Business in 2012. In her spare time, Kathryn loves spending time with friends and family, attending all of the local activities and festivals in Athens, and of course cheering on the DAWGS in the Fall! Kathryn is excited to see what the future has in store for her career here at the Express team in Athens.
Morgann O’Kelley joined our Express team July 2014 as a Staffing Consultant. Morgann was born and raised in Oconee County and is a third generation University of Georgia graduate, who received her BBS in Marketing Education. In her spare time, Morgann loves spending time with her husband and dog Kennedy as well as relaxing at her family lake house on lake Oconee. Morgann looks forward to the fall each year to cheer on the DAWGS between the hedges and tailgating with friends. She is determined to make Express Employment Professionals the number one choice in staffing in Athens, GA and to help employee over a million people in 2016!
Kelly Lenderman joined our Athens, GA Express team in January 2014 as the Front Office Coordinator. Since being with Express, she has moved into a Staffing Consultant role. Kelly is a native of Athens, GA, and she graduated high school from Clarke Central in 2006. She then went onto attend North Georgia College and State University where she received her BBA in Marketing in May 2013. Kelly says that there are two important roles that she plays in her life, business professional and mommy. Kelly has a three year old daughter, Barrett Grace, whom she credits all of her hard work and determination to. Kelly is thrilled to be a part of the Express family, and she looks forward to achieving GOLD! And, of course, GO DAWGS!
Bobby recently started with Express as our newest Staffing Consultant. Bobby grew up right outside the Athens area where he has remained most of his life. He graduated from UGA in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Economics. Prior to working for Express, Bobby worked in the retail industry for over 18 years. Thirteen years of that he worked for Lowe’s starting as a cashier and then moved up to Assistant Store Manager On the weekends Bobby loves spending time with his wife Megan and building furniture out of his garage. He also enjoys going hiking and taking trips to the mountains and of course cheering on the Dawgs in the fall!
Sarah graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2013 with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Theatre. Her first job out of college was for BB&T as a teller until she was fortunate enough to receive the Front Office Coordinator position with Express in 2015. Sarah was the Front Office Coordinator for a year until she moved into her new title as Marketing and Recruiting Coordinator.
Sarah has been married for two years to her wonderful husband Mick. They have an adorable son named MJ who is almost two and two black labs. Besides spending time with her family and friends Sarah is a huge Georgia football fan! There is nothing better than spending a Saturday between the hedges! Go Dawgs!
Kaylan Earls is a Front Office Coordinator for the Express Athens office. Kaylan attended the University of Georgia on a full ride scholarship for gymnastics and earned her degree in Communication Studies. She is from Chigago, IL but Athens, GA has been her home for 6 years now. Kaylan loves helping others and loves helping clients find the positions that fit them. Come by the office and see Kaylan and the rest of the Athens Express Team!
Megan joined our Express team as a Front Office Coordinator in July of 2015. Megan graduated from Athens Technical College with a degree in Criminal Justice. In Megan’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her hometown of Toccoa. During football season you will likely see Megan sporting her red and black! Go Dawgs!!
Joni Marie Patterson is a 2017 BBA Management graduate from the University of Georgia. She joined the Express team in March 2017 as the Back Office Coordinator. When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Joni says that she “enjoys getting to know the people of Athens and having the opportunity to contribute to the community.” Prior to joining Express, Joni spent the summer of 2016 serving as an intern for Clement Arts, a non-profit organization that supports foster and adoptive families. Currently, she serves as Member Development Chair for Donate Life UGA, a foundation that promotes the life-giving privilege of organ donation. Through her involvement with Donate Life, she also volunteers as a GED tutor at The Potter’s House. Joni is an active member of Athens Church, volunteering her time with UpStreet Children’s Ministry. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family and friends, cheering on the Dawgs, and exploring the outdoors.
Charles joined the Express team in August 2014 as the Administrative Support Coordinator. Charles graduated from Athens Academy High School in 2011 and is currently studying forestry at the University of North Georgia. In his spare time, Charles lifeguards and works on a ropes course in the Northeast Georgia mountains. He also enjoys playing golf, fishing, and watching football.
Audrey joined Express in January 2017 as the 1st shift Onsite Coordinator at one of Athens’ large industrial clients. Prior to joining the Express team, she served on Active Duty for the United States Marine Corps since 2008. After 8 years of honorable service, she decided to convert to the Marine Corps Reserves and moved back near her hometown of Athens, GA. She now attends college full time and spends her off time with her wonderful four year daughter.
Charmaine joined the Army in the year of 2000 and held that career for 14 long years. After the honorably serving his country he went on the attend The Art Institute of Virginia Beach where he earned his BFA in Photography. After finishing college he moved back to Athens in October of 2015 and started a fitness program Classic City Fitness. He also applied to Express Employment Professionals in February of 2016 and was quickly hired on as the On-Site Coordinator for one of Athens’ large manufacturing clients. On the weekends he practices his passion for photography and train clients to live a healthier lifestyle.
Jeremy Pitts has been with Express since 2009. He is currently pursuing his A.A.S in Marketing with hopes of obtaining his B.S. in Marketing. He is currently the On-Site Manager for one of Athens’ large industrial clients. Jeremy loves to laugh and be around uplifting people. He has a passion for martial arts and has devoted most of his lift to it. Jeremy is from Athens and has lived here his whole life. He loves to tailgate and cheer on those Dawgs come fall. He is excited to see what his future at Express holds, but is equally excited for the journey leading up to that.
Rodney joined Express Athens in June 2015 as the Onsite Coordinator at for one of Athens’ large industrial clients. Born in Atlanta, GA, he graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School, Decatur GA. in 1997. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force, serving 12 years to include a tour in the Middle East in support of Operating Enduring Freedom. He left the Air Force with over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and 5 years in Management. Outside of his professional life, Rodney loves to spend time with his wife and 2 daughters, watching sports and reading. He recently obtained a Master of Science in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland University College and is close to completing a Master of Business Administration. With his 1-year anniversary approaching, Rodney is very excited to be a part of our Express family.
Asa Compton has been a member of Express Athens team for nearly two years as the On-Site Coordinator at a large manufacturing facility in Bogart, GA. He draws his experience from 8 years of service with the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Scout and Squad Leader where he learned how to motivate and grow junior enlisted men into the leaders of tomorrow. When Asa is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, going to the gym, golfing, fishing, and camping.
