• Community Involvement

    in Collin County and Beyond

Whether we are helping people build their careers or their businesses, Express believes that hope is critical for a successful and meaningful life. Helping others find hope is the basis of our Christian faith and business.  There is no shortage of need, no matter the direction you turn.  We are deeply committed to giving back to our local, national, and international community.  Below are some of the organizations we support either through monetary donations, gifts of time, prayer or other resources.

  • Brand It Blue Day at the Samaritan Inn

Brand It Blue Day is Express Employment Professionals' international day of volunteering.  In cities across North America, local Express offices team with their clients, associates, and friends to help fill community food banks and pantries.

In the past 3 years, Express offices have donated 156,000 meals to organizations across North America through their efforts for Brand It Blue Day. Here locally in Collin County we donate food we collect to The Samaritan Inn in McKinney.  This year we were able to collect an estimated 1,300 pounds with the assistance of clients and associates.

In addition to our food drive, "My favorite part is interacting with the residents at the Inn and having time to de-stress with fun and games for the afternoon," said Debbie Boehm, franchisee of the Collin County Express office. "As we continue on our mission to put a million people to work, we're looking forward to continuing to volunteer and serve people in need."

  • Feeding Los Cabos Kids

Feeding Los Cabos Kids is an outreach covered by Cabo Church and has 11 kitchens that feed children in Los Cabos three times a week.  When attending a “Circle of Excellence” trip to Cabo San Lucas in April, 2015 we were introduced to Tony & Lupe Hernandez. They took us to one feeding kitchen with a church in a colonia, where we assisted with designing the plumbing for the church/feeding kitchen & planning the new roof for a pastor whose home was decimated by hurricane Odile in September, 2014.  We did return in August, 2015 to lead vacation bible school at 2 feeding kitchens.  This turned to be our first international mission trip. Special thanks to Stonebriar Community Church for donating fun material for the children and Spanish backpacks, EvanTell for Spanish training literature, and our home church Revival House for a monetary donation to feed the kids!

  • Revival House

Revival House is our church in Spring, TX through which we are licensed ministers. We worship at Revival House North in downtown McKinney, TX and regulary support our church in intercessory prayer and any other way we can.  Through our church we have helped build water wells in Ghana and hope to visit Africa in the not too distant future.

  • Evantell

  • EvanTell

EvanTell's motto ties in well to what we believe: Be Prepared to Share Hope.  Founder Larry Moyer, president David Souther and the whole team empower Christians worldwide to share their faith through training, outreach, tools, and resources that present the gospel in a clear, biblically accurate, and encouraging way. Donating  Spanish literature for our trip enabled us to communicate the Gospel effectively for a VBS outreach in Cabo San Lucas feeding kitchens in Mexico.

  • Casa Hogar

Casa Hogar Children’s Shelter strives to offer a special and happy boys home set in a camp-like environment providing physical and emotional care. Deb desiring to visit an orphanage was introduced to the Director Chris Mills via Cabo Church. He was gracious enough to explain the miracles God was doing for not only the boys, but for the community. Pictured, beyond the fence, is where they are planning to build a girl’s shelter.

  • The Samaritan Inn

The Samaritan Inn is more than just a place to spend the night. It is a comprehensive program that teaches self-sufficiency and life skills to help restore willing people to independence through training, support, and personalized case management. Additionally it is the only shelter in Collin County which houses the whole family. We assist the Inn’s residents regularly with jobs, training, and donations. Express is happy to partner with Rick Crocker and the Inn's whole team at annual events like “Brand It Blue” and “Pay it Forward.”

  • Human Coalition

Human Coalition is a champion of life, committed to an audacious mission: to transform our culture of death into a culture of life—to end abortion in America.  Life is precious!

Human Coalition is a collective of individuals bound together in answer to a common call: to do all we can to remove the stain of abortion from America. We are change agents—not simply because we are against abortion but because we are for life. We are for preborn babies who need to be protected in the womb; for women who should not have to choose the life of their baby for a fulfilling life; for families whose members should flourish in an environment of value and love; for mothers and fathers who deserve a chance at being mothers and fathers; and for society that needs all its children to live and thrive if it is to be called “civilized.”
