Under John's leadership the Athens office quickly flourished, and he and his team have since opened three additional Express Employment Professionals locations: Covington in 2011, Braselton in 2012, and Lawrenceville in 2019. Today, they have built a team of 30 internal staff members and employ over 1,000 Express associates weekly. Each year the Athens, Covington, Braselton and Lawrenceville offices combine to rank among the top performing offices in the 800-plus Express Employment Professionals' franchise system.

John's diverse team operates under the mission to enhance people's lives one job at a time. His offices provide traditional temporary staffing in a variety of fields including light industrial, administrative, customer service, technical, sales, professional, and commercial. His offices also continue to grow in their permanent placement and evaluation hire services.

John is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is an avid Dawgs fan. He is active in numerous business and civic organizations in the Athens community. He dedicates a lot of his time to the Salvation Army, where he is a Board Member.  He is also a member of the First United Methodist Church. Prior to joining Express, John was a sales representative at Yancey Brothers Company for 10 years.
