Express Employment Professionals Awards Scholarship to Local Resident

Pittsburgh,
PA, July 7, 2016– Express Employment Professionals of Pittsburgh West has awarded a scholarship to Rachael Houser, according to Deb Gray, franchisee
of the local Express office.
The scholarship
was awarded on the basis of past academic performance and future potential,
leadership and participation in school and community activities, work
experience and education and career goals.
Express is
committed to raising the level of education for both present and future
generations,” Gray said. “This scholarship program will not only build on that
future, it will help exceptional students like Rachael continue their
education.”
A Pittsburgh native, Rachael Houser has worked with the Pittsburgh
West office since the summer of 2014, which was her first summer home from
college in New York City. She joined Express at the suggestion of her
mother, Diane, a former associate of the office. After a week of
receptionist work at Matco, she was asked to work exclusively with Pittsburgh
West, and she has continued to do so. She developed their social media
program with owner Deb Gray and built the microsites for Pittsburgh West,
North, South, and East. Rachael has been handling their site updates,
digital media, Facebook, and Twitter for two years now, and will continue to do
so until her graduation from Wagner College in 2017, earning a BA in Theatre
Performance. She is currently serving as Pittsburgh West’s Front Office
Coordinator for her last summer at home while she trains the new social media
liaison, Carrie Geddes.
Express is on a
mission to put a million people to work annually. In 2015, the company generated $3.02 billion in sales and employed a record 500,002 people.
